We’re sharing a list of differences between Black/White 2 and the original games. It’s not nearly as extensive as our Platinum and Diamond/Pearl post from 2008, but there are still a number of differences to check out.The full list can be found below. New locations are accessible in the game, including an underwater tube for travel and the sewers beneath Castelia. Your journey starts in a new town called Aspertia City, located in southwest of the Unova region. The Japanese name is Hiougi Town. The Unova Pokedex features 300 Pokemon from the start.
Unlike Black and White, the game will allow you to capture monsters from previous generation right from the start. Black Kyurem will know the move Freeze Shock. White Kyurem will know the move Ice Burn. Black Kyurem is related to legendary monster Zekrom and White Kyurem is related to legendary monster Reshiram. There will be new forms of the three roaming Pokemon from Black and White: Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus. Their forms can be changed by giving them the “Reflecting Mirror” item to hold.
The game features a new story that takes place 2 years after BW, involving a new version of Team Plasma. Characters from the first game return, such as Cheren, Bianca, and N. All of the gyms are either modified, as in the case of Elesa’s electric gym in Nimbasa City (now a fashion runway, not a roller coaster), or new (such as Cheren’s normal gym). The Pokewood movie-making minigame is a new feature to go along with Pokemon Musicals. Previous Gym Leaders and Champions from other regions can be battled in the World Tournament. Participants include Red, Blue, Lance, Misty, Steven, Cynthia, and several more.
Keldeo obtains an alternate form by learning the move “Sacred Sword.”. Iris replaces Alder as the Unova Region Champion.
Tap tap infinity cheat engine 2. People will tell you to get 2 because it has a wider variety of Pokemon. I'm going to go against the grain and say get the originals. Give yourself a chance to experience the 'new' Pokemon, instead of just going with the classics that you've probably seen hundreds of times already. Plus once you beat the E4 more Pokemon become available in the post game anyway ('Mons from gens 1-4 aren't available until after the E4). Not to mention the first ones have a much better story, more difficult battles, and a more challenging elite 4.Of course it wouldn't hurt to get both if possible.
Everyone else is mostly spot-on, but there are a few key things to point out:1) B2/W2 don't naturally have Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus.2) If you have a 3DS, you can get Pokemon Dream Radar, which connets to B2/W2 and, through it, you can get a ton of items, hidden ability pokemon, the three legendaries from #1, above, AND, if you have the carts for D/P/Pt//HG/SS, you can get their headline legendaries. Pretty damn cool. Check out Bulbapedia or Smogon for all the ways to maximize the Dream Radar.3) They can link with B/W, for additional story content, but I think you'd need two DS to do this4) This is separate because this could be very important to you. In Black, you get Reshiram, in White, you get Zekrom. Then, in Black 2, you get Zekrom, and White 2 you get Reshiram. So unless you want two of the same dragon, get Black and Black 2, OR White and White 2.Good luck!.
For Pokemon Black Version 2 on the DS, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Is it possible to see all of the Unova pokedex in game?' For Pokemon Black Version & White Version. Used in Good Overall Condition.
What is the difference between the two series of games, you ask? Well, for starters, Black 2/White 2 follow the storyline of Black/White, but set two years later - you notice this as some places, like the desert, are built into cities. B/W are more story driven than most other pokemon games, the characters are better, Team Plasma's motives actually get you thinking , and it's separated from the previous 4 Japanese regions with a whole new set of 150 pokemon, and nothing else until post game. Basically, it's Gen 1, but with an actual storyline that has real meaning, contrary to 'We steal Pokemanz' coming from team Rocket every other Gym, and can also hold it's own without blind Nostalgia protecting it.Meanwhile B2/W2 are sequels to B/W designed for the people raging about the fact that you couldn't catch pokemon from previous regions in B/W, they contained a really stupid storyline, and were overall designed for competitive play in the post game.
