Summary: Screamride is a physics-based coaster game where creativity and destruction are equally welcomed. This game features hundreds of customizable building components, physics-based destruction, cinematic collisions, unlockable levels, in-game leaderboards, global rankings and more.
Screamride is a construction simulator and a puzzlevideo game developed by Frontier Developments and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game was released worldwide in March 2015. Bionic commando rearmed 2 pc.
Gameplay[edit]
Screamride features more than 50 levels and three gameplay modes: Engineer, ScreamRider and Demolition Expert. In the Engineering mode, players are tasked to solve development puzzle for roller coaster and thrill rides to meet certain conditions with limited resources. In the Screamrider mode, players can ride and take control of the coasters, with an aim of keeping riders from falling off the coaster.[1] In the Demolition Expert mode, players are tasked with demolishing environments and objects to meet various conditions in order to gain points by throwing cabins with people. All parts of the roller coaster are destructible. Removing any single part will naturally cause derailment of the coasters. Destroying the coaster will also lead to the destruction of buildings. Well placed coaster destruction could lead to explosion, chain reaction and the collapse of a skyscraper.[2] There is also a sandbox mode, which allow players to build coasters with extreme designs with props, ride pieces and modular scenery. Players can create coasters, amusements and environments from the ground-up.[3]
Although the game does not feature multiplayer, it features an online leaderboard. On Xbox One, players can also take control of coasters shared and created by other players through Xbox Live.[4] They can also race with others to ride a coaster as fast as possible and gain 'scream rating' through the process.
Screamride has been regarded by some reviewers as a 'spiritual successor' to RollerCoaster Tycoon.[5]
Setting[edit]
The game is set in the year 2400 where a number of thrill-seekers are employed by a fictional corporation called Screamworks to experience a variety of extreme roller coasters and rides for the future of humanity and sciences.[6][7]
Development[edit]
The game was announced at Gamescom 2014 during the Microsoft press conference.[8] The release date was announced on November 14, 2014. A demo of the game was released for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on February 17, 2015.[9]

He also praised the game for capturing and delivering the 'fun factor' that many other modern games lack of, as well as the 3 game modes, which he stated 'they all fit together cohesively and challenge your gaming prowess from multiple angles and directions.' He summarized the review by saying that 'Screamride is a surprisingly remarkable Xbox exclusive. It's truly a game that's greater than the sum of its parts, and yet every part is crafted with care and a sense of excitement.'[3]
Writing for IGN, Miranda Sanchez praised the 3 distinct game modes, satisfying destruction and explosion, strategic, tactical and rewarding gameplay, relaxing soundtrack, as well as the control in the Engineer mode, which she stated 'simple yet complex enough to build intricate coasters'. However, she criticized the frustrating difficulty spike in the career mode and occasional camera and framerate issues.[6]
Arthur Gies from Polygon gave the game an 8/10, praising the environmental destruction, excellent puzzle-design, as well as the gameplay, which offered players freedom and room for experimenting. However, he also criticized the overwhelming amount of coaster pieces and environmental types. He summarized the review by calling the game 'one of the first great surprises of 2015.'[16]

Joe Juba from Game Informer gave the game a 6.5/10, praising its colourful graphics, while criticizing the unremarkable voice-acting, repetitive soundtrack, locked pieces in the sandbox mode, which only unlocked when the player meet certain point in the campaign mode. Writing for GamesRadar, David Robert gave the game a 2.5/5, criticizing its boring scenarios, dull presentation, unconnected, isolated and compartmentalized game modes. He stated that 'Screamride suffers from an identity crisis, and whenever it tries to focus on anything that isn't roller coaster creation, it falls apart.'[7]

Hello all, I'm hoping that a post here will help this issue. This may be aimed more at the Moderators here than the general community, but I'd appreciate any help from anyone that can offer advice or solutions.:)As most probably know, ScreamRide was added to Game Pass some time ago and has had over 25K players, and probably more. The problem: On ScreamRide, there is a Level Center that you need to use for part of the game and for several achievements. You need to access this Level Center to Share a level that you create to the community, and to download other players' levels. TheLevel Center, or more specifically, the servers for it have had a rocky history of working one moment and not working at all the next, going back over the last few years to 2015. Sometimes the servers don't work for months at a time. Right now, the serversaka the Level Center has not worked for the entire month of June, so far. So you cannot share or download any levels for the game from the community.I just recently started the game a couple of weeks ago and immediately ran into this issue.
I have tried daily to access the Level Center and I just receive an error message. I have seen other forum posts about this on gaming sites and have messaged withseveral friends and other gamers that are also trying to access the Level Center, as it is the last thing that they also need to do in the game to complete the game. Nobody has had any luck with the servers since May. We all only get error messages when trying.I have contacted the Developer, Frontier Developments, and they have informed me that they no longer support the game and everything is managed by Microsoft now (ScreamRide is published by Microsoft Studios). Including the servers. So, the servers are maintainedand managed by Microsoft. So, now I'm a bit stuck because I'm trying to find out how or who to contact through Microsoft about this.
I would like to find out, for myself and the rest of the ScreamRide players that are also having the same problem right now,if they are aware that the server has been down since May, and if they can fix this and bring it back up for us. Being on Game Pass, with so many players, this needs to be looked at. It's an issue that is making a large part of the game unplayable and makingit uncompletable for those who like to earn all of the achievements in a game.I actually found an older post here on the forums, from October 2016, where someone had the exact same issue as the servers were down at that time as well. A nice Moderator here on the site named Mister Maka addressed it and replied that he 'reached outto the appropriate team for this issue and we'll be sure to reach back out when we have more info'. The next day he followed up with 'Microsoft’s best engineers are working hard on the problem.' Five days later, the original poster wrote 'As of right now it'sworking.
Either thanks to David or the official staff.' A Moderator was able to forward the problem to a team and Microsoft's engineers addressed it and the servers were working within 5 days.
That is absolutely amazing and gives me hope lol.:)Is there anyone here that can help? Can a Moderator let an 'appropriate team' know when a server is down for a game that Microsoft runs and maintains? Please, I have been trying to fix this and deal with it for a couple of weeks now and there are many ofus having the same problems. I've been messaging almost daily with friends and other gamers saying, 'Have you had any luck yet?' 'Nope, tried for an hour last night, just got error messages.' Even if the servers can just be fixed temporarily,it would be something.Thank you in advance, any help at all is MUCH appreciated.- Spiral:). So, once again just trying to check and see if anyone can help.
Any Moderators, MVP's, Microsoft employees on here.I'm just asking if the server problem for the Game Pass game, ScreamRide, can be forwarded to the appropriate people to see if it can be looked into or fixed, as it was before by a Moderator here forwarding the issue to some engineers at Microsoft. Thereare a lot of people through Game Pass that can't play this due to the servers not working since May.It's not a great feeling when games are added to Game Pass, and then the servers go down for it.:( As mentioned above, I've already contacted the Developer and they have not been attached to the game since 2015. They stated that the servers have alwaysbeen under Microsoft (the Publisher), since day one, and they've had nothing to do with servers. So, please, can anyone help.Thank you. Praise the Sun and Happy Gaming!:).
